Tell us how we can help you

You've Made It To the NEXT CUT.

Congratulations — you’ve taken the next step toward preserving a life or memory. “Most people aren’t sure where to begin. This isn’t a commitment — it’s just a conversation to see if this is the right time.” Unyielding crafts intimate, cinematic legacy films for people who want their stories held with care. This is not rushed: we collect details thoughtfully so the film reflects what matters.

SELECTED WORK

Cinematic documentaries that feel like a vivid memory.

Every Discovery film is crafted like a feature: considered composition, natural light, and space for silence. Below are glimpses into the stories families, founders, and estates have trusted us to preserve.

Elderly couple in golden late-afternoon light on a porch overlooking rolling fields.

"So many stories are missed, I'm just glad that mine will look like a movie because it felt like it!"

A quiet, observational portrait of a father rebuilding his life after loss—filmed over a dayin his home and neighborhood.

Interior documentary shot of a small study with framed photographs and hands turning a weathered ledger.

“I enjoyed every moment of this filming session, we truly thank you!"

A biographical film created as a private archive for family—filmed in the spaces that shaped his life.

Four ways to hold on to what matters.

Unyielding is built for people who value discretion, patience, and craftsmanship. Each engagement is bespoke; most stories begin in one of these forms.

Biographical Portraits

Commissioned films for public figures and estates—balances personal nuance with the responsibility of record.

“Most people aren’t sure where to begin. This isn’t a commitment — it’s just a conversation to see if this is the right time.”

FAQ

Questions you may be holding.

If you don’t see your question here, we’re glad to talk through it during a consultation.

How far in advance should we begin?

We recommend a minimum of 2–4 weeks in advance to secure dates, locations, and any necessary permits (if needed). For more complex productions or travel, begin 2–3 months ahead to allow time for booking, pre-production, and stakeholder coordination.

Who is usually present on filming days?

Typical on-set personnel include a director/producer, and camera operator; Clients may have a representative present, and interview subjects or talent will be scheduled as needed. We keep the crew as small as possible to remain unobtrusive.

Can parts of the conversation remain private?

Yes. You can request that specific portions be excluded from the final edit or treated as confidential. We can note takes to omit, set restrictions on raw footage access, and include confidentiality terms in release forms if needed—please tell us before filming so we can document preferences.

Do you work with clients who are camera-shy?

Absolutely. We use short, conversational takes, warm-up questions, and an off-camera interviewer to create a relaxed environment. Many people become more comfortable after a few minutes, and we can schedule multiple short sessions so participants can ease into being on camera.

Where are you available to travel?

We travel regionally and nationally and can support international shoots with advance notice. Travel fees, per diems, and logistics are discussed during booking; we’ll provide a clear travel quote once dates and locations are confirmed.
